Do You Think Women Park Vehicles as Effectively as Men?

Ladies, park your ego at the entrance. Figures that male drivers truly are better than female drivers at steering their vehicles in a parking space, if one is to trust a new-fangled investigation out of Europe.

Numerous types of parking were integrated in this slightly curious study that included participants trying to park their given vehicles in the most excellent possible method within the given parking space.

Findings from the investigation went on to suggest that the women subjects took a great deal longer to park accurately, while also not performing as accurately as their masculine counterparts.

I Have to Sell My Car

I have to put on the market my 2001 Volvo S70 T5 (pegged at approxomately €8thousand) given that our home now wants a larger vehicle (2 adults, 1 child and twins on the way).

I have to say that I have been happy with the vehicle, I ain't a power freak and the car manages to do 115 kph but that's ok; I am, genuinely, merely selling since its size is extremely small for our current way of living.

I'm open to cars which bear these points into account:
a) more roomy
b) similar low emission
c) proficient on quick trips (seeing that that's what we largely do)
d) decent on fuel efficacy

I would really be looking ahead to buying a different vehicle, however it should not be overly costly, yet be a car that I can depend on, and also one which is stress-free to keep in good condition.

In essence, if you were contented with the vehicle I mentioned although you clearly require to change it for something that is SLIGHTLY larger, in that case which one would you pick? I am partial to the exterior of the Land Rover. Although I suppose it will be tough to come across one in that budget. SUVs can be usable for us seeing that we reside in the Blue Mountains and a small number of off road tracks are present, although it's not compulsory for the car to be an SUV.

While I hold on for the sales agreement I imagine I'll merely continue using a hire automobile

Each and every one of your ideas would be very valued.

A Different SUV for my Dad

My dad just returned his Toyota 4Runner and is on the lookout to charter something else. He already expressed that the previous SUV was not very kind on his back and that it had way too much power for this part of the world… Now he's on the lookout for a 4 cylinder or a small 6, and it must be Offroader given that he enjoys kayaking, etc… and this is the only spacious vehicle in the house, I borrowed his car a number of times to transport possessions all over the place because I drive a Honda Accord and my wife a Scion Xa.

Anyhow, the money; it's without doubt under US $28k taking into account taxes and fees.

He did like the Mazda CX7, but it's way too underpowered, the Turbo variant has exceptional power and drives well, but for the price he thinks he could do better.

He received a wonderful deal at Volkswagen for a Jetta SportWagen 2.5L 5 cylinders… but he has a reliability concern as our Audi A6 and VW Cabrio were constantly breaking down. I recommended that with a 24-month contract he shouldn't have any difficulties (in contrast to driving the Jeep Wrangler like he did for over 5 years).

Then there is the recent Subaru Outback, a very good car, one could smell excellence all over if you choose to explore this car… Dad even said that he might have bought the car by now if not for the overtly obnoxious salesperson… I feel inculing taxes it gets to $32k or so, however he does seem to enjoy the car a lot.

He used the Toyota FJ Cruiser (4 cylinders) and opined that it drove quite badly… I didn't get to test out that one, however he seems to be confident that his next vehicle won't be a Toyota.

Any propositions? k to k or about there? The Volkswagen Tiguan feels like a piece of crap and consequently I asked him not to bother going through that, besdies the Murano is too costly.
